Remembering Sammy…
Things we remember and loved about Sammy. Your hugs were so tight they hurt. You always smiled. Your favorite dish were tacos. You had just gotten over Hello Kitty. You were smart and witty, always making us laugh. You told everyone to call you Bob and you would not respond to any other name that day. You loved to read books. You were a morning person like Dad and loved to go to Hooz Donuts in the early morning. You were sensitive, cried easily and laughed often. Your talent was gymnastics and you always beat Dad at lawn Olympics (because you could do the splits). You were afraid of the dark. You got your first sports bra and showed everybody! You gave Dad the nickname “Triple D”. You were a rule follower and perfectionist at school. You were a good snuggler. You smelled like “sweaty kid" after school. When you concentrated your tongue would come out. You still believed in the Tooth Fairy and Santa Claus. You looked good in hats. You liked to help in the garden and plant flowers. You weren’t tall enough to ride Indiana Jones at Disneyland so we put sugar packs in your shoes. You told Dad he was your idol. You loved your sisters. You loved your family.
